About Zscaler
Zscaler accelerates digital transformation to ensure our customers can be more agile, efficient, resilient, and secure. As an AI-forward enterprise, we are constantly pushing the envelope, leveraging the world's largest security data lake to power our cloud-native Zero Trust Exchange platform. This innovation protects our customers from cyberattacks and data loss by securely connecting users, devices, and applications in any location.
Here, impact in your role matters more than title and trust is built on results. We say, impact over activity. We seek innovators who actively use AI to amplify their impact and who thrive in an environment where we leverage intelligent systems to stay ahead of evolving threats. We believe in transparency and value constructive, honest debate-we're focused on getting to the best ideas, faster. We build high-performing teams that can make an impact quickly and with high quality. To do this, we are building a culture of execution centered on customer obsession, collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
We value high-impact, high-accountability with a sense of urgency where you're enabled to do your best work and embrace your potential. If you're driven by purpose, thrive on solving complex challenges, and want to be part of the team that's helping to secure the AI age, we invite you to bring your talents to Zscaler and help shape the future of cybersecurity.
Role
We are looking for a Director Product Marketing, Zscaler Private Access to join our Marketing team. This is a hybrid role based out of our global headquarters in San Jose, CA, reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing for Zscaler's core portfolio.
As the strategic voice for our Zscaler Private Access flagship product, you will partner closely with Product Management and Sales to define our market presence. You will lead a team to translate complex technical product capabilities and services into compelling narratives that resonate with CISOs and technical practitioners alike, driving global adoption and market leadership.
What you'll do (Role Expectations)
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of product marketers to drive market awareness and adoption of Zscaler Private Access and the broader Zscaler portfolio.
  • Strategic Messaging: Develop product positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates Zscaler's ZTNA and SASE solutions in a highly competitive market.
  • Launch Orchestration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Enablement, and Demand Gen teams to lead high-impact product launches.
  • Full-Funnel Content: Create impactful content for a variety of formats and audiences-from technical buyers to business leaders-to support awareness, demand, and enablement.
  • Sales Empowerment: Communicate the core value proposition of our solutions to the sales organization and develop tactical tools that accelerate the end-to-end selling process.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor enterprise AI trends and data security challenges to ensure our go-to-market strategy aligns with evolving customer needs.

Who You Are (Success Profile)
  • You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback-knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
  • You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.
  • You are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer-both internal and external-and anchor your decisions in solving their real-world problems.
  • You operate with urgency. You understand that in a high-growth environment, speed and quality are not mutually exclusive. You have a relentless focus on execution and a bias for action.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Must have 8-10 years of experience in enterprise product marketing, cybersecurity, SaaS, or Security Operations.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, cybersecurity, journalism, or related field
  • Must be proficient in go-to-market strategy, product messaging, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security trends, security operations challenges, and managed security services
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling B2B SaaS, security solutions, or managed security services

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's degree or MBA; certifications in cybersecurity, AI, or cloud technologies
  • Direct experience in security or networking
  • Proven ability to craft messaging for both technical and executive-level audience
