Job description

As the Head of Videography,a typical day might include the following:

  • Leading all video production and post-production efforts for Big Night Entertainment Group, including weekly vlogs, branded content, and special projects
  • Shooting, coordinating, and editing both short-form and long-form video content, ensuring consistency across platforms and alignment with brand standards

  • Working closely with ownership and celebrity partners to develop, execute, and oversee video content that aligns with brand vision and strategicobjectives

  • Developing and owning the overall video production strategy for BNEG, including content planning, creative direction, and performance monitoring

  • Managing the full video production lifecycle from concept development through post-production and distribution

  • Overseeing the physical and logistical aspects of video production, including equipment management, shoot schedules, budgets, and production workflows

  • Managing, mentoring, and directly supervising at least two videographers, with the potential to build and oversee a larger video team as the department scales

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for major video collaborations, partnerships, expansions, and special projects, coordinating internally and externally as needed

  • Reviewing raw footage and guiding the creation of compelling edits, rough cuts, and final deliverables

  • Overseeing the organization and management of video assets, including recordings, screen captures, animations, and audio files

  • Capturing high-quality b-roll, event footage, and supplemental content to support storytelling and brand initiatives

  • Producing platform-specific and short-form versions of content for use across social media channels

  • Contributing creative ideas and leadership to continually elevate the quality, impact, and innovation of video content

  • Researching emerging trends, formats, and platforms to inform content strategy and maintainrelevance

  • Overseeing YouTube channel management, including publishing workflows and long-term channel growth strategy

  • OptimizingYouTube titles, descriptions, metadata, and transcriptions to improve visibility and performance
