What You'll Do:
As a YMCA Lifeguard, you'll:
  • Keep swimmers safe by enforcing pool rules and safety guidelines
  • Stay rescue-ready and respond confidently to emergencies
  • Monitor pool areas and assist with aquatic activities
  • Assess swimmers' abilities to ensure a safe environment
  • Participate in paid training and shadow shifts
  • (For Swim Instructors) Teach fun, structured lessons using the YUSA curriculum
