Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead of Yield Management at SpaceXAI to oversee yield strategy and optimization for the X advertising platform. This role is responsible for driving the vision, frameworks, and execution that maximize advertising inventory utilization and long-term revenue performance at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the creation and continuous refinement of yield management frameworks and predictive models to optimize SpaceXAI's advertising inventory utilization and long-term revenue performance.
  • Define, monitor, and report on core yield KPIs, including ad capacity, fill rate, ad load, served impressions, revenue, and CPM performance across all major placements (Home Timeline, Profiles, Search, Replies, etc.).
  • Analyze and map advertising inventory supply against key audience and user dimensions, including age, gender, geography, OS, and other relevant segments to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize inventory allocation across direct sales, self-serve, DSPs, and all advertising products to balance supply, control pricing dynamics, and maximize advertiser campaign outcomes.
  • Partner with Ads Engineering to design and implement scalable processes for real-time inventory optimization, including ad load management, CPM floor strategies, and other critical controls.
  • Collaborate on sales strategy development, providing data-driven insights on inventory health, pricing guidance, and revenue growth opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in yield management, revenue optimization, advertising operations, or monetization strategy, preferably in large-scale social media, digital advertising, or programmatic platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling yield frameworks that have driven significant revenue impact.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with deep experience in inventory forecasting, pricing strategies, and KPI optimization.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with engineering, sales, and product teams

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional partnership.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$228,000 - $342,000 USD

Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package at xAI, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.

  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
