Position Summary:
The Lotus Bartender provides distinguished beverage service to Lotus High Limit Room. This position demands advanced bartending knowledge, exemplary hospitality abilities, and a strong dedication to personalized service. The bartender consistently upholds the brand's standards of excellence by combining technical proficiency, anticipation of guest needs, and discretion, ensuring memorable interactions in an upscale setting.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Provide luxury-level bar service to high-limit guests, proactively anticipating needs and consistently exceeding expectations.
4. Offer personalized beverage recommendations and craft cocktails tailored to individual guest
preferences.
5. Demonstrate mastery in cocktail creation, spirit education, and wine pairing, ensuring flawless
execution and presentation.
6. Efficiently prepare and serve drinks, maintaining a standard of 1--3 minutes per cocktail.
7. Operate all bar equipment and tools, including soda and liquor guns, strainers, shakers, bar spoons, muddles, fruit peelers, and channel knives.
8. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and garnishes, adhering to company standards.
9. Manage inventory, restock stations, and promptly report any variances to management.
10. Anticipate guest needs, provide recommendations or substitutions, and ensure a personalized,
exclusive service experience.
11. Execute precise bar setup, mise en place, and breakdown procedures in alignment with luxury
standards.
12. Deliver elite-level service to high-limit players and VIP guests with professionalism and discretion.
13. Communicate guest feedback and opportunities to the manager on duty.
14. Accurately operate InfoGenesis POS systems, handle cash transactions, and comply with company policies regarding funds management.
15. Verify liquor deliveries, reconcile orders, and report discrepancies to management.
16. Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards as set by the department and company.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Minimum three years of bartending experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or exclusive lounges
preferred.
3. Availability to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays.
4. Must be at least 21 years of age.
5. Ability to carry full trays.
6. Strong multitasking skills under pressure, maintaining composure and professionalism; able to manage multiple drink orders simultaneously.
7. Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, including types, classes, brands, and basic tasting notes.
8. Must possess or obtain Responsible Beverage Service State Certification.
9. Must possess or obtain California Food Handler Certification.
10. Must pass luxury bartender assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Fluency in multiple languages.
2. Certification in Advanced Mixology, WSET Level 1 or higher, or BarSmarts Advanced.
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, with or without assistance.
2. Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend, and reach for the duration of shift.
3. Requires manual dexterity to operate job equipment.
