Job description

Performs all registration functions including: accurate collection of information necessary for the quality registration of all patients, participates in the Orientation and Training of all employees and reviews exception reports, data quality and delinquent data reports relevant to State and Federal Regulations.
Education/Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Typing 40 wpm, and computer knowledge PC keyboarding skills required.
  • Medical terminology required with 1 year admitting related experience preferred.
  • Health insurance knowledge including experience with Managed care requirements.
  • Must demonstrate ability in communication and problem solving skills.
