Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and organized Workplace Coordinator. In this entry-level role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, contractors, and employees, ensuring our front office and manufacturing shop run smoothly every day.

If you are a proactive, customer-focused individual looking to kickstart your career in office management, facilities, or operations, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment. You will work alongside site leadership and the broader workplace team to keep our facilities safe, organized, and welcoming.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Front Desk & Greeting: Serve as the primary face of our Brighton facility. Greet employees, contractors, and guests with a warm, professional demeanor and ensure a positive first impression.

  • Visitor Management: Coordinate visitor check-ins, issue guest badges, and enforce basic site safety and security protocols for everyone entering the building.

  • Daily Operations Support: Keep the front reception area, breakrooms, and office spaces clean, organized, and fully functional. Perform daily walkthroughs to spot maintenance or safety concerns and report them to facilities.

  • Stocking & Inventory: Monitor, order, and restock office supplies, coffee, breakroom snacks, and other products to keep the facility fully supplied along with vendor assistance.

  • Events & Catering Support: Assist with setting up and breaking down team events, company celebrations, and site events, including ordering food and organizing logistics.

  • Basic Administrative Tasks: Provide general admin support to site leadership, including routing vendor invoices, managing incoming/outgoing mail, and helping prepare onboarding materials.

  • Vendor Escort & Coordination: Meet and direct daily service vendors (janitorial, snack/bev delivery, catering) upon arrival.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in front desk receptionist roles, customer service, retail, hospitality, or office support. (Great fit for entry-level candidates!)

  • Customer-First Attitude: A naturally warm, welcoming personality who enjoys interacting with people and helping others.

  • Reliability & Punctuality: Dependable attendance and a solid work ethic to open the front desk consistently each morning.

  • Organization & Detail: Ability to manage daily checklists, keep physical spaces neat, and keep track of inventory.

  • Adaptability & Safety: Comfort working in a combined office and manufacturing/shop environment, with a commitment to following all safety rules and wearing required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe boots in shop areas)

  • Communication: Clear, polite, and professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to navigate office and manufacturing shop to conduct walkthroughs, as well as transport supplies weighing up 25 pounds.

  • Safety-Sensitive Designation & Drug Screening Policy: Due to daily presence in a combined office and manufacturing shop, this position is designated as safety-sensitive.

    • Screening Requirements: Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required prior to hire. Employees in this role are also subject to random drug and alcohol testing throughout their employment.

    • Policy Enforcement: A positive test result or refusal to submit to testing will result in withdrawal of a conditional job offer or immediate termination of employment.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience managing a front desk or reception area.

  • Previous work in a retail, hospitality, or warehouse setting.

  • Familiarity with basic office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $28.00 - $34.00 per hour + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
