The Workplace Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic management of Frontier Energy's facilities and fleet portfolio across multiple office locations. This role oversees facility operations, vendor management, fleet administration, preventative maintenance, workplace compliance, budgeting, and operational improvements that enhance the employee experience while reducing operating costs. This position develops standardized operating procedures, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures facilities support the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee facilities and fleet operations across multiple office locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs for facilities and company vehicles.
  • Manage facilities and fleet budgets, invoices, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance projects, and workplace improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, vendor insurance, ISNetWorld, and company standards. Oversee company vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, and utilization.
  • Develop standardized operating procedures and improve workplace operations.
  • Partner with Safety, Finance, IT, People Leaders, and site representatives to support efficient and safe workplaces.
  • Track operational performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for landlords, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding facilities and fleet operations.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience managing facilities, workplace operations, property management, or similar operational functions.
  • Experience managing multiple office locations.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and service providers.
  • Experience managing operational budgets. Knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and workplace operations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Fleet management experience.
  • OSHA workplace safety knowledge.
  • Experience managing compliance programs, including vendor insurance and contractor qualification systems such as ISNetWorld.
  • Experience supporting office renovations and facility improvement projects.
