Position Summary...The Director, Workforce Planning and Transformation (International People) shapes and enables the future of the International organization. This leader designs and delivers AI-enabled, data-driven workforce strategies and operating models that improve cost structure, strengthen capability, and elevate decision quality across markets. Reporting into senior International People leadership, this role owns the multi-year workforce transformation roadmap—translating business strategy into modern, scalable, and digitally enabled People operating models. The Director partners closely with Market People leaders, Finance, Strategy, and Technology to redesign structures, rebalance work, and embed advanced analytics and AI into how People teams operate. This is a high-impact role focused on building a simpler, faster, and more intelligent International organization that is fit for the future.   • Develop and lead the International People workforce transformation strategy aligned to enterprise and market priorities.
  • Design future-ready, AI-enabled operating models that clarify accountabilities across Global, International, and Market teams.
  • Lead enterprise-level organization design initiatives, including spans and layers optimization, capability placement, and structural realignment.
  • Integrate advanced workforce analytics and predictive scenario planning into operating model and headcount decisions.
  • Build scalable workforce planning frameworks that enable markets to model cost, productivity, and capability trade-offs.
  • Use data and financial modeling to inform long-term workforce evolution and resource allocation.
AI-Enabled Workforce Transformation
  • Redesign People workflows and service models to leverage automation, self-service, and AI-assisted decision-making.
  • Partner with People Technology and Digital teams to embed AI tools into workforce planning, service delivery, and operational processes.
  • Rebalance work across human and automated capabilities to elevate strategic impact and reduce transactional complexity.
  • Establish governance frameworks to support responsible, scalable AI adoption across International markets.
  • Drive capability uplift within the People organization to operate effectively in an AI-enabled environment.
Organizational Architecture & Service Design
  • Define and implement scalable service models (e.g., COEs, shared services, market execution) to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Standardize and simplify core People processes while preserving necessary market flexibility.
  • Embed continuous improvement principles into workforce and operating model redesign.
  • Ensure organization design decisions are outcome-driven, measurable, and sustainable.
Transformation Leadership & Market Partnership
  • Lead complex, multi-market transformation initiatives from strategy through execution and value realization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to International and Market People leaders on workforce strategy and structural decisions.
  • Drive strong change management practices to enable adoption of new operating models and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Establish governance, metrics, and reporting to track transformation impact across cost, productivity, and associate experience.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies that drive adoption of new operating models, AI-enabled workflows, and People processes across markets.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans, tailored communications, training, and enablement materials for leaders and market teams.
  • Partner with Market People leaders to co-create localized adoption roadmaps and equip them with playbooks, toolkits, and coaching support.
  • Establish adoption metrics, reinforcement plans, and feedback loops to measure and sustain behavioral change and value realization.
  • Lead capability-building initiatives to up-skill People teams in change adoption, digital fluency, and AI governance.
  • Ensure change and adoption activities are integrated with program governance, risk management, and transformation reporting.

  • 8–12+ years of experience in workforce strategy, operating model design, HR transformation, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
