As a Workday Functional Consultant on the HR Strategy & Technology team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Workday functional workstreams for implementation and optimization projects
  • Gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements related to HR processes and Workday functionality
  • Participating in client workshops, demonstrations, and design discussions to support business process and system decisions
  • Assisting with Workday configuration, testing, data validation, and end-user training activities
  • Developing project deliverables, including process documentation, configuration guides, and training materials

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience supporting, implementing, or optimizing Workday HCM in one or more of the following modules:  HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, On boarding, Learning, Performance Management or Talent
  • 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements and business processes
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or in human resources, finance, or technology
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Workday HCM certification in one or more HCM modules including Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management or Talent 
  • 2+ years of experience serving Fortune 500 or equivalent clients
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and Microsoft PowerPoint for executive-level presentations
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio to create process flows or technical diagrams

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,700 to $170,900.
