Job description

The Opportunity 

As a Medicaid Managed Care Senior Analyst, you will bring policy knowledge, project coordination, and management consulting experience to support Medicaid managed care contracting and compliance activities. In this role, you will help support the review of Medicaid managed care contracts and rate certifications against federal requirements, and contribute to timely, accurate deliverables for clients and internal teams. To be successful, you will understand Medicaid managed care, the managed care landscape, and how to work effectively within large project teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supports Medicaid managed care-related task coordination, including tracking workstream activities, maintaining deliverable timelines, organizing inputs from project team members, and helping ensure client deliverables are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Contributes to contract and rate review activities by analyzing state Medicaid managed care contracts and rate certifications against federal regulations, guidance, and program requirements; identifying issues, questions, or needed revisions; and helping document and communicate findings for internal and client review.
  • Coordinates across internal team members and external stakeholders to clarify responsibilities, follow up on action items, facilitate communications, and support efficient completion of contract reviews and oversight tasks.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track dependencies, and support several contract review or task coordination workstreams simultaneously under deadlines.
  • Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve questions that arise during contract reviews, respond to client and team requests, and adapt when guidance, timelines, or priorities change.

What We Value 

  • Bachelor's Degree + Five years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or PhD.
  • Familiarity with Federal Medicaid and managed care regulations, policy, and program implementation and monitoring.
  • Experience working on projects related to Medicaid and managed care required. Federal or state Medicaid managed care experience is not required but welcomed. 
  • US work authorization required and ability to obtain and maintain clearance access for HHS information systems. Active credentials to work on CMS's systems is strongly preferred.
