As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier .

More about our team 

We are seeking a Remote Clinical Dietitian to join our growing team supporting behavioral health hospitals across the country. In this role, you will assess patients' nutritional status, develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans, and provide nutrition education through our remote telehealth program. 

Dietitians are assigned facilities based on a predetermined schedule and provide coverage for fellow dietitians during vacations and other planned absences. This position reports directly to the Director of Dietary Services.

How you'll contribute 

Clinical Dietitian who excels in this role:         

  • Completing comprehensive nutrition assessments

  • Developing and maintaining therapeutic menus

  • Writing and updating nutrition-related policies and procedures

  • Managing foodservice ordering for assigned hospitals

  • Providing nutrition education classes for patients

  • Supporting facilities with clinical nutrition and foodservice needs

  • Strong clinical assessment and medical nutrition therapy skills

  • Knowledge of behavioral health nutrition and therapeutic diets

  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple facilities and competing priorities

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and remote communication platforms

  • Flexibility to provide coverage for assigned facilities and other dietitians as needed

What we're looking for 
Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required with 3-5 years of clinical nutrition experience behavioral health or acute care settings required. Additional requirements include:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

  • Active Dietitian license in the candidate's state of residence required. 
  • Foodservice management experience is preferred
