Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician opening in NY Located in Syracuse, NY Full-Time, PermanentPractice Overview:

  • Full-time Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician opportunity in Syracuse, New York
  • Hospital-employed position with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • 10-hour night shifts: 10:00 PM-8:00 AM
  • Provide inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients
  • Conduct daily rounds on assigned hospitalist patients
  • Complete history and physical exams within required timelines
  • Manage medical changes or crises when the attending physician is unavailable
  • Coordinate necessary follow-up care upon discharge
  • No telemedicine
  • Long-standing Central New York healthcare setting
  • Compensation & Recruitment Package:
  • Salary range: $200,000 - $311,519
  • Loan assistance negotiable
  • Job Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Current and valid New York medical license
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted federal and state controlled substance registrations
  • Ability to obtain active medical staff membership and clinical privileges
