Duties
Help
You will serve as a Workforce Development Manager (Cyber) and be responsible for focusing on human resource initiatives, providing talent management to recruit, retain, and mature the CG's Cyberspace workforce in accordance with the Cyberspace Workforce Human Capital Plan.
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

• Developing cyberspace workforce plans, strategies, and guidance to support cyberspace workforce manpower, personnel, training and education requirements, and addressing changes to cyberspace policy, doctrine, materiel, force structure, and education and training requirements.
• Performing the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
• Designing and directing the work and is viewed as the technical authority for assigned program areas.
• Developing or assisting in the development of workforce management policies and protocols for cyber readiness.
• Developing career path opportunities for the personnel in the cyber community using tools provided.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level,your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

• Supervisory Experience - leadership experience managing the day-to-day tasking of civilians, contractors, and/or military subordinates as a manager or team lead. Additional emphasis should be placed on coordinating administrative functions as well as strategic use of human capital.
• Policy Development - developing workforce plans, strategies, and guidance to support workforce manpower generation, personnel, training and education requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement - engaging high-ranking officials both inside and outside the agency/organization at national levels, in unstructured situations.
• Human Capital Management - experience developing human resource service strategies to meet present and future operations billet requirements.
• Cybersecurity - basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals such as Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA), networking, endpoint security, identity and access management, etc.
• Adaptability - responding to a dynamic work environment and keep pace with new and emerging cyber requirements. Member should be able to effectively re-prioritize tasking in response to new information.
• Project Management - experience with project management and the ability to sustain multi-year projects through completion.
