Job description

AltaMed offers mentoring services for youth as a supplement to educational and occupational skills training available through our existing Workforce Development program. Technology skills training, career exploration, and leadership development are all benefits for the thousands who have formally gone through our Workforce Development program.
Workforce Development coordinates of all of AltaMed's internships, including AmeriCorps and clinical placement. More broadly, though, it exists to promote the sustainable growth of AltaMed's workforce, one day seeking to supply 10-20 percent of our employees, and aims to ensure that AltaMed is hiring from within the communities we serve with greater retention in mind.
Job Overview
The Project Intern will support various project management activities, which may include planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and develop valuable skills in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated from an academic institution, preferred (level of educational degree may vary).
