Student Development Student Assistant
Department: Student Development - Wellesley
Location: Wellesley Hills

Locatedin Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college,offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses inWellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educationalcommunity and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students withvarious needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time, student employment positionwith no benefits. This role provides front desk support for the StudentDevelopment Office, along with administrative assistance and support forEssential Student Resources (ESR) initiatives. The Student DevelopmentAssistant will gain hands-on experience in student support services and socialservice resource coordination.
KeyResponsibilities and Duties:
Front Desk &Administrative Support
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff members, and guests;
  • Ability to engage professionally and warmly in fast-paced environment;
  • Perform general office and administrative duties, including answering and routing phone calls and assisting with scheduling inquiries and appointment confirmations;

StudentSupport, Outreach & Program Coordination
  • Distribute essential resources (e.g., hygiene and period products, meals, and snacks);
  • Develop flyers and outreach materials (e.g., Canva) and maintain resource lists;
  • Support data collection efforts to assess program effectiveness;

IndependentProject
  • Complete an independent project aligned with student worker's interests that supports the Student Development Office and benefits the student community;
  • Other duties as assigned.
