This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our office locations.

The Lead Conflicts Analyst is responsible for full-cycle coordination of all functions related to the conflict of interest resolution process. Essential job functions include:

  • Responsible for completing advanced conflict searches and complex projects with limited supervision.
  • Thorough review of Conflict Results Report to identify true potential conflicts for Intapp Open workflow intake requests and its predecessor system.
  • When appropriate, conduct necessary research to determine materiality of potential conflicts.
  • Contact the appropriate attorneys and/or assistants in an effort to clear potential conflicts.
  • Communicate daily with the Manager regarding resolution of potential conflicts of interest.
  • Thoroughly document and organize documentation regarding the resolution of potential conflicts of interest.
  • Maintain telephone and personal contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters.
  • Track status of outstanding or on-going Work Flow requests.
  • Review completed conflict packets for accuracy and fully documented processes in a quality assurance capacity.
  • Assist with clearing potential lateral hires as assigned by Manager.
  • Support, mentor and train others members of the RM team to accomplish tasks in support of RM program objectives.
  • In support of Department Managers: plan, schedule, and assign daily work tasks as needed, including:
    • Assigning responsibility for special projects;
    • Coordinating Manager(s) to arrange for adequate coverage of all areas when staff are absent; assessing need for overtime.
  • Facilitates miscellaneous services to clients, including new employee orientation and/or overview of RM Program.
  • Reports regularly to department management on team goals, objectives, projects, and accomplishments.
  • Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts & Docketing Operations and Conflicts Managers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2‐year degree required; 4‐year degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible related work experience preferred in order to gain the expertise needed to coordinate Firm-wide conflict clearing process.
  • Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis of potential conflict of interest issues.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

  • State of California: $63,000 - $128,000
  • State of Colorado: $58,000 - $103,000
  • State of Illinois: $57,000 - $110,000
  • State of Maine: $43,000 - $98,000
  • State of Massachusetts: $63,000 - $120,000
  • State of Maryland: $61,000 - $92,000
  • State of Minnesota: $63,000 - $104,000
  • Jersey City, NJ: $68,000 - $123,000
  • State of New York: $58,000 -$126,000
  • State of Vermont: $62,000 - $119,000
  • State of Virginia: $41,000 - $119,000

  • State of Washington: $61,000 - $115,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
