Project Location – Hybrid until January 3 days onsite, then will need to be fully onsite for training 5 days a week, Annapolis Maryland 21401

Job Description-: MUST have experience with training on ALL Financial modules within Workday

GA is preparing to launch Workday across its enterprise, modernizing how we manage our people, payroll, and financial processes. We are seeking a Workday Training Specialist with 5–7 years of experience to play a key role in developing user training materials, delivering engaging learning content, and driving change management initiatives to ensure a successful rollout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training content for Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials modules.
  • Create job aids, quick reference guides, and instructional videos tailored for back-office and functional teams.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate system processes into user-friendly training materials.
  • Design and facilitate end-user and manager training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  • Support change management and communication activities, ensuring end-users are informed, engaged, and prepared for go-live.
  • Maintain version control of all training materials and update them as enhancements are introduced.
  • Monitor user adoption and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to align training with business goals and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of Workday training experience, including hands-on exposure to HCM, Payroll, and Financials modules.
  • Proven ability to develop clear and concise training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with instructional designadult learning principles, and change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, or Captivate) a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
