Senior Workday Engineer (Financials)

The Senior Workday Engineer will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to define, build, and implement Financial Systems applications, reports, integrations and/or functionality, utilizing EIBs, Cloud Connectors, Workday Studio, BIRT, and Workday reports.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and support integrations between Integration Hub, Workday and other 3rd party applications, utilizing Microsoft SQL Integrations Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory, Workday Electronic Interface Builder (EIBs), Cloud Connectors, and Studio integrations
  • Build and facilitate use of Workday web services and APIs
  • Administration of the Workday application both with security and configuration
  • Design, develop, and support custom Workday reports
  • Research the Workday system upgrade content and make recommendations for using new features
  • Design, develop, and support Microsoft SQL Server related objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Administration of Microsoft Master Data services (MDS) as it relates to integrations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with ERP engineering/software development
  • 3+ years of Workday Engineering specifically – experience with everything here isn't required, but the more the better!
    • Experience with the following Workday technologies: Cloud Connectors, Studio Integrations, Workday Report Designer (BIRT)
    • Experience in the following areas of Workday: Security, Business Processes, Hierarchies, Supervisory Organizations, Custom Organizations, Spend Categories, Revenue Categories, Account Sets, Ledger summaries, and Calculated fields

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience doing integrations with Workday and 3rd party applications
  • SQL Server experience
  • SSIS experience
  • TFS or Git experience
