The HRIS Analyst will assist in the maintenance and support of the Workday HRIS, including system updates and configurations. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical support The HRIS Analyst will assist in the maintenance and support of the Workday HRIS, including system updates and configurations. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical support tickets, generating and analyzing HR reports to provide insights for decision-making, and participating in user training sessions to support end-users. Additionally, the HRIS Analyst will maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
  • Configure and customize Workday to align with the organization's evolving needs and business requirements.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and assess impacts on downstream systems.
  • Evaluate, build, and maintain various Workday modules
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests across the organization.
  • Manage a diverse and fluid workload commonly including multiple assignments and variable deadlines.

What We're Looking For:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Human Resources; Or Associate's degree; Or HS diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant work experience.

Experience:
  • 4 years minimum, 5+ years preferred experience with Workday application support, process configuration, HR data maintenance. Ideally HR Business Process acumen in 2-3 HR functional areas (Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, T&L, Compensation, or Learning. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills. Effective communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Workday Pro certification(s) preferred.

Nice-to-have:
  • Integrations experience.
  • Reporting tools (EIB, BIRT/Calculated Fields).
  • Data privacy/compliance knowledge.

  • On-Site in the AEP Headquarters in Columbus, OH or Tulsa, OK
