Job description

Overview
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, pipelining candidates and filling positions (Technical and Professional Services Candidates) at Edgewater Federal Solutions. The desired candidate must possess the capabilities and experience to support all areas of recruiting and recruiting compliance and be able to operate in a team environment with all other corporate areas of the company.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for finding talented, qualified IT and Professional Services professionals for current and future positions at Edgewater Federal Solutions.
  • Provide sourcing, searching, and screening candidate resumes, and interviewing candidates.
  • Appropriately disposition candidates in the compliance recruiting system.
  • Responsible for expanding the company's talent pipeline.
  • The Recruiter will also provide support in other Corporate Areas as necessary, such as Human Resources and Business Development/Marketing.
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews, oversees preparation of interview questions, and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other Human Resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, in lieu of a degree an additional 4 years of technical recruiting experience.
  • 2-4 years of Recruiting experience.
  • Experience working in a metrics driven environment (e., tracking of phone calls, interviews, and successful placements).
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking
  • Ability to screen job candidates to ensure that they meet the requirements for the position to be filled.
  • Experience conducting phone and in-person interviews.
  • Experience using proactive sourcing methods, including cold calling, networking, Internet sourcing,
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and job candidates.
  • Ability to compose, review, and clarify job descriptions and skills required for positions to be filled.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a social media and/or network presence to market job openings and career opportunities.
  • Ability to maintain constant contact with job candidates and provide them appropriate feedback.
  • Ability to provide weekly recruiting updates to Senior Management
  • Commitment to staying apprised of the latest recruitment trends and most competitive practices and techniques that Edgewater Federal Solutions can use to fill positions.

Preferred:
  • Working knowledge and familiarity of employment law and compliance requirements with the ability to implement and advise.
  • OFCCP audit experience.
  • Experience recruiting cleared DOD and DOE .
  • Experience in IT and Professional Services professionals for government contracts to include highly technical roles such as developers, cyber security specialists, help desk analysts, engineers, and business analysts in both unclassified and classified environments.
