Job description

RC Mowers | We’re Hiring

Marketing Lead
Full-Time · Hybrid (On-site 4 days/week average)
Green Bay, Wisconsin

RC Mowers is hiring a Marketing Lead to run the day-to-day execution of our marketing function. You'll report directly to the CEO. You'll work closely with our outside marketing agency, which supports strategy, creative development, and campaign planning. Your job is to turn that direction into executed work — campaigns, product launches, tradeshows, brochures, content, video, website, sales materials, and vendor coordination.

THE JOB

A typical week might mean coordinating a tradeshow event, reviewing creative deliverables from the agency Tuesday, publishing a blog post and updating the website Wednesday, drafting documents to support a product launch Thursday, and prepping the next social campaign launch Friday.

Multiple projects move at once. Priorities shift. There is no marketing team to fall back on — you are the marketing team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Project ownership

  • Own timelines, status, approvals, and follow-through across every marketing project
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with our marketing agency and outside vendors
  • Coordinate product launches across web, social, brochures, video, photography, sales materials, and events
  • Produce product launch documents — spec sheets, one-pagers, brochures, dealer materials, feature/benefit sheets — working with engineering and sales to get the details right
  • Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency before they go out
  • Keep internal teams informed on launches, timelines, and what you need from them
  • Build the internal processes that make marketing repeatable
  • Keep marketing assets organized and accessible to the rest of the team

Content & digital

  • Maintain and execute the content calendar
  • Publish and update website and blog content in WordPress
  • Create, update, and review our sales and product documents
  • Publish and manage day-to-day social content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels

Tradeshows & production

  • Coordinate tradeshow logistics with our Sales Operations Manager — booth, signage, shipping, readiness
  • Run pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up
  • Coordinate photo and video production with internal teams and outside vendors

Media & industry targeting

  • Research industry publications, associations, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Evaluate print and digital advertising; coordinate contracts, insertion orders, and deadlines
  • Coordinate advertising placements and monitor basic performance with the agency
  • Support targeted industry and campaign lists in coordination with Sales Operations

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing execution in B2B, industrial, agency, or similarly execution-heavy environments
  • A track record of independently owning marketing projects from direction through delivery, including identifying gaps and driving next steps without waiting to be told
  • Experience working with outside agencies, creative vendors, or production partners and holding them accountable for deadlines and quality
  • Strong project management instincts. Multiple plates spinning, none dropped.
  • Sound judgment when working with executives, technical teams, sales, and outside partners
  • Ability to review marketing work critically, catch what's off, and push it back for fixes
  • Comfort managing shifting priorities without losing the details
  • Clear written communication

BONUS POINTS

  • Product launches involving messaging, sales materials, web content, photography, video, and campaigns
  • Marketing technical products, equipment, or complex B2B offerings
  • Tradeshow or field marketing experience
  • Agency-side experience
  • WordPress, Canva, Salesforce CRM, Adobe suite, email marketing, or marketing automation tools

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll work closely with our Sales Operations Manager and the sales team. Marketing exists here to make sales effective, and that connection runs through this role.

You'll also work regularly with engineering, service, and operations — verifying technical details, gathering content, and getting launch materials to completion. You will work closely with the CEO to bring our vision to life, dial in messaging, and provide executive data for decision making.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

RC Mowers builds autonomous and remote-controlled mowing equipment for difficult environments — steep slopes, hazardous terrain, labor-constrained operations. We sell to municipalities, DOTs, and commercial contractors across North America, as well as internationally. We're a growing, profitable company shipping real machines to real customers.

We're based in Suamico, right off Hwy 41, near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The company is about 50 people. You'll know everyone's name within a week.

HOW TO STAND OUT

Tell us about a marketing project, campaign, launch, or event you personally owned end-to-end. We want to know:

  • What was the goal?
  • What did you actually do?
  • What broke or surprised you?
  • How did you handle it?
  • What was the result?
  • What would you do differently?

Examples, links, decks, or work samples are welcome.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation commensurate with talent, leadership, and experience, around 60k to 90k. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and sick leave, and disability, life, and accident insurance.

Hiring is subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening. RC Mowers provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
