Our staff takes pride in being experts in Laminating Papers and Vinyl to Full Sheets, Profile Wrappings, Membrane Pressing, Boring & Routing, Miter-Folding, Straight-Line & Contour Edge banding, Moldings, Cut-to-Size Parts and T-Molding. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a high-energy, positive, dependable and skilled team player to oversee the maintenance, safety and functionality of JMC Woodโ€™s facilities and equipment with a primary focus on supporting production operations. The Facilities Manager will work hands-on to coordinate all maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives across all buildings on JMC Woodโ€™s campus.

Shift Hours: On-Site Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Additional time as necessary. This is an on-site role.

DUTIES

ยท Manage the upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workspace.

ยท Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers for maintenance, security, cleaning and other facility-related services.

ยท Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.

ยท Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.

ยท Collaborate with operations to ensure PMs are regularly completed and that any equipment or facilities issues are addressed in a timely manner.

ยท Supervise, lead, train, mentor and coordinate maintenance and cleaning teams

ยท Prioritize urgent facility needs and emergencies, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.

ยท Oversee renovations, repairs and improvements to facilities and equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

ยท Train staff or coordinate staff training on safety-related content as needed.

ยท Co-Chair Safety Committee & ensure machine guarding and other facility and equipment-related safety measures are in place.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ยท 3+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.

ยท Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

ยท Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose facility-related issues quickly and effectively.

ยท Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage various responses and competing priorities effectively.
