This position is responsible for overseeing the cutting of engineered wood. The primary duties of this position involve interviewing, selecting, and training of engineered wood manufacturing employees, maintaining production records, determine and maintain the materials, supplies to be stocked and used in engineered wood products production, assessing engineered wood manufacturing employees' productivity and efficiency handling engineered wood manufacturing employee complaints and grievances, disciplining and/or recommending the discipline of engineered wood manufacturing employees and planning the work.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the hourly engineered wood manufacturing employees
Determine and maintain the materials, supplies to be stocked and used in engineered wood product production
Work with customers to create takeoffs
Manage, maintain and train on automated saw systems
Enforce safety measures
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
