Work Performed:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily press operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This role oversees stamping press operators, material handlers, and support personnel while ensuring efficient workflow, proper die setup, and adherence to production schedules. The supervisor promotes a strong safety culture and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment..


Job Requirements:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production employees

Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards

Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment

Monitor productivity and address performance issues as needed

Train, coach, and support team members

Assist in troubleshooting production issues and equipment concerns

Maintain accurate production reports and documentation

Communicate effectively with management, maintenance, and quality teams

Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures



Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)

3-5 years of manufacturing experience

1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience

Strong knowledge of production processes and safety standards

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work flexible shifts if required

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Familiarity with ERP or production management systems
