Surrounded by vineyards, Michelin-star restaurants and exquisite views in Yountville, our 22-acre haven sits among one the most coveted viticulture regions in the world. We invite our guests to immerse themselves in a redesigned Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner: two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the vibrant Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary. A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!

JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Educator to deliver exceptional wine education experiences to our guests. The Wine Educator is a key ambassador of The Estate Yountville, creating memorable wine experiences that build relationships, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and grow wine club membership. The ideal candidate is polished, engaging, sales-minded, and passionate about wine and luxury hospitality.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Membership Growth
  • Convert qualified guests into wine club members and achieve individual sales goals.
  • Build relationships that generate repeat purchases, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
  • Conduct personalized follow-up, outbound outreach, release campaigns, and retention efforts.
  • Contribute directly to estate revenue and sustained membership growth.
Guest Experience & Wine Education
  • Host private tastings with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Deliver personalized service and share The Estate Yountville story through engaging wine education.
  • Coordinate with culinary and events teams on elevated food-and-wine experiences.
  • Maintain tasting spaces, materials, inventory, and presentation to luxury standards.
Operations
  • Execute opening, closing, reservations, guest communications, and daily tasting-room procedures.
  • Support inventory control, member events, and cross-department coordination.
  • Maintain exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Wine, luxury hospitality, fine-dining, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, sales, and relationship-building skills.
  • Polished professional presence and confidence presenting membership opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • POS and CRM experience preferred; weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability required.
