MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows System Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD.  You will be part of a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce that supports a wide range of national defense missions. This role directly supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization-the foundation of all Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) for MPO. 
   

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Creating standard Windows load for users
  • Patching Windows server using the WSUS server
  • Creating, modifying and deleting Windows accounts
  • Complete NESSUS scans and mitigate the vulnerabilities
  • PXE Windows workstations using Deployment Services and join workstations to Domain
  • Implementing GPOs for Active Directory, update and fix Active Directory issues
  • Managing Virtual Machines on serval VCenter servers to include adding memory, CPUs, network and disks
  • Installing ESXi hosts on Dell servers
  • Creating new shares from NetApp flier for users
  • Restoring data using NetApp snapshots

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 5 years of additional related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. 
  • 14+ years of experience as a System Administrator or related experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.  
  • Must be proficient with troubleshooting in a Windows environment (e.g. motherboards, external cards, memory and riser cards).  
  • Experience with VMWare 
  • IAT I certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment.  Acceptable certifications include A+ CE/CCNA-Security/CND/Network+ CE /CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience/familiarization with full lifecycle management of Windows systems, to include provisioning, configuration management and patching. 
  • Experience with NetAPP 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph 

Physical Requirements: 

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. 
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
