Overview of position:

We are looking for a Teleservices Engineer/Architect, Journeyman to work in Indianapolis, IN

An active Secret Clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide platform engineering support for DFAS CCE NIPRNet enclave
  • Process and resolve Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets
  • Support implementation of new hardware and software technologies
  • Assist with CCE infrastructure monitoring activities
  • Support virtualization and directory services operations
  • Document technical solutions and effort in ticketing system
  • Participate in CCB change control processes
  • Support Teleservices infrastructure (VoIP, fax systems, conferencing)
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on complex technical issues
  • Support testing and validation of CCE changes

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years systems engineering experience
  • Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification)
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and basic Linux administration
  • Knowledge of MECM, SCOM, and Microsoft management tools
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Familiarity with VoIP and teleservices technologies
  • Experience with ticketing systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP certification (upgrade path)
  • Azure administrator certification
  • VMware VCP certification
  • Experience with DFAS systems
  • Knowledge of DISA STIGs
  • VoIP/Unified Communications experience
  • PostgreSQL database experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

Clearance:

  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
