Job Overview

Lakeside Renovation & Design is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Window & Door Installer to join our expert residential remodeling team. This position plays a crucial role in delivering top-quality installations of windows, doors, and associated trim. You’ll coordinate the work of a small crew, follow precise instructions from project managers, and ensure jobsites are clean, safe, and productive. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and ready to grow in a supportive, team-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install residential windows, entry doors, patio doors, storm doors, French doors, and related components

  • Complete daily assigned tasks from the Project Manager and Field Supervisor

  • Lead a crew and train laborers or apprentices as needed

  • Measure and install coil stock, trim, and hardware with precision

  • Work safely at heights (up to 40 feet), using ladders and harnesses appropriately

  • Communicate job progress and challenges with the Project Manager

  • Maintain a safe and organized jobsite at all times

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, time management, and technical skills

  • Support company mission and values on every job

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in window and door installation or residential carpentry

  • Solid carpentry skills and proficiency with power tools

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Comfortable working at heights and performing physical labor

  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening (or possess a valid medical card)

  • Must have a basic set of hand tools

  • Lead-safe certified preferred

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
