Description
Works cooperatively with the contract therapy providers to implement provided exercises to maintain a Sisters physical strength, balance, range of motion and coordination.
  • Carries out large group, small group and one on one Wellness programs for physical, cognitive, or pain management needs which include social, recreational, sensory stimulation, validation and/or reminiscence activities.
  • Identifies and communicates observations of special needs or concerns of the Sisters, including changes in Sisters physical, cognitive or pain status to supervisor.
  • Keeps accurate, Wellness specific, records of individual Sister personal and medical information while protecting the confidentiality of that information.
  • Assists in issuing adaptive and therapeutic equipment to assigned Sisters while keeping accurate records.
  • Carries out established schedule of Wellness Center equipment maintenance, cleaning, and integrity of area to ensure a clean, safe environment for both Sisters and staff.
  • Works cooperatively with fellow employees, volunteers, supervisors and Sisters to provide and carry out specific Wellness programs as assigned.
  • Provides input to Coordinator for ordering equipment and supplies.
  • Teamwork through collaborative and cooperative interactions with all employees, departments and administration.
  • Improves self in any way possible to enhance job performance.
  • Functions as a team member by assisting, supporting, and encouraging other employees in any way possible.
