On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Technical Support Engineer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX.
Technical Support Engineer Job Details
Provide both reactive and proactive assistance to all external customersÂ
Troubleshoot and resolution of open incidentsÂ
Troubleshoot/qualify incidents before escalating into Tier-IIÂ
Liaise with Tier-II, to facilitate feedbackÂ
Record and document all issues related to the customersÂ
The creation of documented solutions for both internal and external support web-pagesÂ
Technical Support Engineer Mandatory Skills
Familiarity with cooperate network infrastructuresÂ
Experience with one or more of Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, and Mac OS)Â
A strong working knowledge of networking, as well as installation, troubleshooting, upgrading, integration, protocols and client/server operations is required.Â
Basic Administration/Maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server.Â
Industry or professional organization certifications in computing fields are not required but highly desirable (MCSE, Network +, Security +, etc.)Â
At least two years of full time experience in customer care/customer support.Â
Advanced writing and verbal communication skillsÂ
