Job description

We're now looking for a skilled and customer-focused Network Engineer Level 3 to join the team of a reputable Business Technology Company, and ensure our clients’ printing environments run smoothly and efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Designing and implementing a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements

* Installing and configuring network hardware, such as router, switches, and firewalls.

* Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability

* Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.

* Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.

* Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.

* Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.

* Providing network engineering support and training to other team members.

  • Understand the stack of products that make up our stack of Managed Services products
  • Take Control/AV Defender/N-central
  • RSM/EDR/Datto/Axcient/Connectwise/Microsoft 365/Passportal
  • Company's specific software ECL and Connectwise
  • Handle issues with customers that both Level 1 and 2 need to escalate
  • New discovery of net new client opportunities. Rapid Fire tool
  • Attend and prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews with Managed and Remote Customer
  • Work with service manager on upcoming IT projects
  • Stay in touch with IT tickets in Connectwise/upcoming email and/or server migrations


REQUIREMENTS:

* This job requires a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

* At least 3-5 years experience required.

Network Engineer Skills needed

* In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies.

* Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency to work both independently and in a team setting

* Time management and organizational skills.

* Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Network Engineer--Additional Skills Preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and how to implement & migrate from other platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory both premise and cloud based
  • Knowledge of Fortinet specific network infrastructure devices (Firewalls, Switches, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Telephone/VOIP technology
  • Knowledge of IOS devises
