Primary Purpose of Job
To provide hardware engineering support into the business/project group

Responsibilities
Fit, integration & test of sub-systems into containers (shelters/cabins etc.) and/or vehicles (trucks)
Equipment into racks, racks into containers
Power, weight, distribution, environmental etc.
Perform systems level and detailed hardware design activities, including requirements analysis and decomposition leading to successful requirements verification.
Preparation of design documentation, factory/site installation and testing activities,
Liaison with sub-contractors and suppliers.
Contribute to Improvement activities, which improve efficiency, reduce lead time and raise quality within the assigned project
Ensure compliance with the appropriate legal, security, quality, safety and environmental procedures
Support product development and associated business and functional goals.
Deliver to cost and schedule, monitor and report performance.
Requirements
Mechanical/electrical skill sets
Familiar with system lifecycle activities, including support to major technical reviews
Flexible to travel/work at customer sites for a variety of reasons (not just hardware related)
Problem solving skills
Must be adaptable to a wide range of hardware tasks
Familiarity with power distribution and communications systems
Familiarity with EMC/TEMPEST issues and CE marking of equipment
