Labor One Staffing is hiring Fire Watch!
Great Opportunity to get your foot in the shipyard and start working on your career!
- Stop all operations if you find any hazardous conditions.
- Firewatch will be expected to watch hot work areas to help maintain a safe workspace and alert the area to any dangers.
- Must adhere to all safety measures and precautions.
- Must have a fire extinguisher readily available at all times.
- Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment provided. (PPE gear)
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available all shifts, 8-12 hours daily
- Must be available to work overtime, including the weekends.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Must be able to climb stairs and work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to work in confined and enclosed spaces.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a Drug test and a physical.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Attendance is a priority.
- OSHA 10 Maritime Training ( a plus, but we will train)
- Complete a Firewatch Training Course.
- Must be a TEAM player!
