Here's what you'll do:
General Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine maintenance including painting, light carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, minor drywall repairs, flooring repairs, and landscaping support. Troubleshoot and/or oversee vendor for repairs such as gates, doors, walkways, fencing, and common area structures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs, including plumbing leaks and safety hazards. Preventative Maintenance & Inspections Conduct routine property inspections to identify repair needs and safety concerns. Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections. Finishes & Surface Work Repair or replace worn flooring tiles as needed. Apply paint and finishing touches to interior and exterior surfaces. Plumbing & Hardware Troubleshoot plumbing systems to diagnose repair needed by vendors. Perform simple plumbing repairs and replace fixtures, valves, fittings, and related components. Repair and adjust locks, hardware, rain gutters, and downspouts. Repair and align doors and windows to ensure proper operation or escalate to the vendor. Grounds & Amenities Support Support landscaping upkeep including trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance. Monitor and maintain community amenities such as pools, clubhouses, recreational courts, and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Perform power washing to maintain exterior cleanliness using the correct protective gear.
Requirements
Work Schedule & Coverage
  • Regular schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • May require overtime, weekend, holiday, or on-call emergency response coverage as needed.
  • Must respond to urgent maintenance situations within designated response timeframes when scheduled for on-call duty.

Work Environment
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

  • May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of general building maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and general repair techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
  • Ability to read and complete work orders and maintenance logs.
