  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality systems and procedures across manufacturing operations
  • Oversee daily quality control activities including inspections, testing, and validation processes to ensure product integrity
  • Lead Quality Technicians by establishing priorities and providing the support required to ensure all quality inspections across the site are completed effectively
  • Provide direct support to the Quality Manager or Director on assigned projects and organizational initiatives as requested
  • Ensure First Article Inspections (FAI) are consistently completed through effective planning and coordination
  • Manage root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Conduct regular training sessions on quality assurance protocols and regulatory requirements for staff
  • Collaborate with production teams to integrate quality assurance into manufacturing workflows from raw materials to finished goods
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance status for management review
  • Lead internal and external quality audits to maintain certification standards and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively train and mentor team members.

Preferred
