Job description

The Ad Content Editor supports Publix's advertising and price item communication by proofreading and editing all creative materials related to the weekly ad to ensure they align with PPMS product information and pricing, are consistent, and complete. The Ad Production Editor protects Publix's reputation by ensuring that creative materials are free from errors in pricing and product descriptions, spelling, composition, spacing, punctuation, and typography while also compliant with trademark and ad branding guidelines for Publix and its partners. The Ad Production Editor will be a self-motivated team player capable of proofreading materials in a deadline-driven environment.
In Publix's corporate offices, we value in-person interactions, similar to those our store associates have with customers. Many of Publix's corporate offices offer work from home up to one day a week. Each business area implements their policy differently and should be discussed during interviews.
Responsibilities
  • Proofreading creative material and ensuring Corporate Purchasing product information and pricing is accurate Protecting the Publix reputation.
  • Producing the Weekly Ad.
  • Ensuring a quality reproduction of all routine price/item print ads during review of printer's proof.
  • Researching missing or inaccurate information and copy in partnership with Corporate Purchasing Ad Support Coordinators and the Ad Content Developers.
  • Documenting and maintaining a Publix Ad Content style guide that provides rules and guidelines for price item communications, including punctuation, spelling, grammar rules, nomenclature, and mandatories such as disclaimers.
