What You'll Do
  • Supervises and coordinates personnel delivery of nursing care on assigned shift in skilled care.
  • Accurately transcribes and carries out physicians' orders.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Assists in development and implementation of Resident Care Plan; updates Care Plan as needed
  • Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol
  • Collects samples such as urine, blood and sputum from residents for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples.
  • Assists Residents at meal times and monitors dining room process.
  • Records food and fluid intake and output.
  • Assists in Resident care, including bathing, toileting, and other ADL's.
  • Responds to Resident call bells in a timely manner.

  • Weekend Program: Every weekend, all shifts

  • Hours: 16-24 hours per week

  • Location: Skilled Care or Personal Care at both WVC campuses in Lancaster and Willow Street, PA
