Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Stacker

Location: Cartersville, GA
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift
Schedule: Overtime and weekends are mandatory

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators / Stackers for a cold storage facility in Cartersville, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of stand-up forklift or reach truck experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This position is responsible for operating a stand-up forklift, moving and staging products, loading and unloading materials, and stacking pallets safely and accurately.

This position requires mandatory overtime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift or reach truck.
  • Stack and organize pallets according to warehouse procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks and warehouse materials.
  • Move products throughout the cold storage facility.
  • Stage products in designated warehouse and loading areas.
  • Use RF scanners to scan and track products.
  • Verify product quantities, labels, locations, and conditions.
  • Label, sort, stack, wrap, and secure products.
  • Perform forklift pre-shift inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Assist with inventory counts and product audits.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all warehouse and workplace safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE, including cold-weather PPE.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of stand-up forklift or reach truck experience required.
  • Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred.
  • Experience stacking pallets is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in a cold storage environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to pass a basic math assessment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
