Job description

Position Type:
Support Staff
Date Posted:
6/23/2026
Location:
Peoria Notre Dame High School (Peoria)
Date Available:
ASAP
Join us in the important work of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through community, faith, knowledge, and service. Peoria Notre Dame High School has an opening for an admissions and marketing assistant for the 2026-27 school year and beyond to serve our school community through promotion of the school as a whole on digital platforms and directly with prospective and current families.
At PND, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside faculty and staff members committed to bettering themselves professionally and as Christians. We know we can't share what we don't have, and therefore we offer ample opportunities for our faculty and staff to strengthen their spiritual lives through daily Mass, daily adoration and confession, biweekly faith formation meetings, an annual faculty retreat, and All School Mass.
Many of the benefits of working at PND are visible: competitive salary, health and dental benefits, a 403b match program, and tuition discounts for your children at our partner schools and at PND. Many benefits are not as visible: young people who are respectful and engaged, small teacher-to-student class sizes, and the opportunity to be part of a Catholic community with a rich history and a united mission.
Priority will be given to candidates who hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or graphic design and who eagerly share their love for Christ and Catholic education with others. We're seeking individuals who love to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure consistent, professional, and engaging communication across all platforms; work in an innovative, creative, and organized manner; and provide dynamic website management, social media content, digital communications, and admissions support.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Enthusiastic supporter of Catholic education and the school's mission.
  • Experience with website management, social media platforms, and digital communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and social media management tools.

Desired Characteristics
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with strong initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Professional and positive presence with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of school needs.
  • Spanish speaking (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:
  • Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Requires attendance at admissions events, school activities, and select extracurricular functions.
  • Attending faith formation, All School Masses, staff retreats and institutes, and in-house professional development sessions
  • Local travel to community partner sites may be required.
  • Work directly with Director of Admissions and Marketing
  • Maintain and update the school website with current news, events, announcements, calendars, and photos.
    • Ensure website content is accurate, timely, visually appealing, and aligned with school branding.
  • Create and schedule engaging content for the school's social media platforms.
    • Capture and share photos, videos, student achievements, school events, athletics, faith activities, and community highlights.
    • Promote school spirit and Catholic identity through digital storytelling.
    • Monitor social media engagement and respond appropriately to inquiries or comments.
    • Oversee the weekly family newsletter that distributes via email with engaging and informative content
  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns for admissions and school events.
    • Update and manage daily communication screens, digital signage, and announcement displays throughout the school.
    • Create graphics, slides, and visual content for school communications and events.
    • Assist with newsletters, email communications, flyers, and promotional materials.
    • Help prepare admissions materials, packets, and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with admissions data entry.
  • Assist with open houses, recruitment events, school showcases, and community outreach activities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
  • Medical, dental, prescription and vision plans for individuals and families
  • Paid time off: sick leave, holidays, personal days
  • Retirement savings: 403B with employer contributions
  • Long-term disability coverage
  • Life insurance
