We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized full time Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy private practice eye care team at Eyecare Associates of Nampa. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. The front desk is the first impression of our clinic, and we are looking for someone who can balance professionalism, efficiency, and a welcoming attitude while managing a high volume of patients. We are looking for candidates seeking a stable, long-term opportunity with growth within our practice. This position is not intended for summer-only or temporary employment.

Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
Front Desk Receptionist job responsibilities include:
  • Greet patients promptly and professionally while creating a positive first impression
  • Check patients in and out accurately, including verifying demographics and insurance information
  • Schedule appointments
  • Collect copays, payments, and balances
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist with basic questions regarding coverage
  • Maintain patient charts and documentation in the EHR system
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and optical staff to keep patient flow running smoothly
  • Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy and a calm, professional demeanor
  • Assist with scanning, faxing, emailing, and other administrative duties
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Help resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Support clinic organization by keeping the lobby and front desk area clean and presentable
Skills & Qualifications
Front Desk Receptionist required skills & qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred (optometry/ophthalmology a plus)
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
