ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be specified on submission form)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float on a rotational basis
• 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6-1:8 on nights (estimates, not guarantees)
• 1 year telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Trauma experience preferred
• Care for cardiac/medical surgical patients
• Must be determined, decisive, and flexible
• Required certifications: Current RN license (Missouri eligible or licensed), BLS from AHA, 4 trauma credits (or complete within first two weeks), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required, no torn clothes or open-toed shoes
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift with full week availability required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting patients with assistance, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
