WB Moore partners with WBM Group, PLLC to provide those design services in MEP engineering and consulting throughout various industry sectors.The targeted position is focused on supporting WBM Group, PLLC operations, and the engineering projects acquired. The WB Moore Company seeks an experienced Electrical Designer to support operations in the Charlotte, NC market.


Description:

The electrical designer reports to a senior electrical designer or engineer and is responsible for electrical design and the developing and maintaining of company drawings. The electrical designer will design projects and provide drawing support for field operations with minimal direction. The electrical designer will be responsible to see that permits, drawings and design documents are properly handled on projects. The electrical designer shall maintain appropriate relationships with client contacts in order to assure their satisfaction with work performed by company.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years experience as a designer, with at least two (2) years as lead designer primarily in commercial electrical work.
  • Excellent understanding of all disciplines and general construction
  • Advanced knowledge of related codes, regulations and design standards
  • Advanced knowledge of complex installation practices and trade standards
  • Fundamentals of trade coordination and conflict resolution
  • Proficient with IT networks and infrastructure
  • Proficient with technology, business applications and business machines
  • Proficient with various CAD software applications

Education:

  • Requires an Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
