Job description

Front Desk Agent

Red Hawk Golf and Resort has an exceptional opportunity for a part time Front Desk Agent. This position will work together with our Villa manager and housekeeping team to execute an exceptional experience for all Villa guests and guests of the resort.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering superior guest service in a fast-paced resort environment. Responsibilities include managing hotel reservations, assisting guests throughout their stay, supporting resort operations, and serving as a welcoming first point of contact for our guests.

This is a part-time position to start, and weekend availability is required.

Schedule: Saturday–Monday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the possibility of adding one additional day if desired.

Compensation: $18/ hour (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities of the Front Desk Agent:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls for the resort
  • Manage reservations for our 9-room hotel, The Villas
  • Check guests in and out following established procedures
  • Provide guests with information about the resort, amenities, and surrounding area
  • Conduct room tours and answer questions regarding accommodations
  • Accurately post charges and maintain guest accounts
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and provide solutions when needed
  • Assist with housekeeping support as necessary
  • Support administrative duties for resort operations
  • Maintain accurate records, folios, and supporting paperwork
  • Respond appropriately during emergencies following established procedures
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications for the Front Desk Agent:

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Basic Microsoft Office and computer experience required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor

Other Qualifications:

  • Previous Hotel of Front Desk experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of lodging system application helpful.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears.
  • Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands.
  • Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls.
  • Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
