Job description

Front Desk Support
Birch Creek Assisted Living is hiring a friendly, reliable Weekend Receptionist to keep our front desk organized and welcoming for residents, families, visitors, and outside professionals. You'll be a key point of contact on weekends-someone who can stay calm, helpful, and professional while supporting the flow of the building.
This is an onsite, part-time, entry-level role in Smithfield, UT, scheduled 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on alternating Saturdays and Sundays (rotating opposite another weekend receptionist). Pay is $14/hr.
In this role, you will:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet visitors and help with questions or concerns
- Share resident needs and messages with care staff
- Complete filing, basic records, and general admin tasks
- Assist with timesheet corrections and administrator-assigned support
What you'll need:
- Strong customer service, kindness, and respect for seniors
- Solid time management and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills (Google Workspace or similar)
- Office/reception experience helpful; training available
If you're dependable and enjoy helping others, apply with your resume.
Extras Included
Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid meals during your shifts.
Weekend Rhythm
Your shift runs 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on alternating Saturdays and Sundays, rotating opposite another weekend receptionist for a consistent part-time schedule. You'll settle in at the front desk, connect with residents and families as they come and go, and stay attentive to what's happening in the building so you can respond smoothly when the pace picks up. Between visitor flow, you'll have quieter moments to stay organized, keep the workspace tidy, and wrap up the day by making sure key notes and details are in order for the team after you.
Pursuant to the State of Utah rules and regulations governing assisted living facilities we are not allowed to hire any person who cannot pass a criminal background check due to past felonies.
