Job description

Are you organized, dependable, and great at keeping things running smoothly? Weโ€™re looking for a Front Desk Assistant Manager to help lead our front desk team and make sure our club stays clean, organized, welcoming, and on track.

What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Front Desk Assistant Manager, youโ€™ll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk while supporting our team and managers. Responsibilities include:

  • Complete club walk-arounds, shift checklists, equipment checks, and weekend audits
  • Keep the front desk, tanning rooms, backstock closet, and club areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for members
  • Restock club supplies, Summit apparel, class schedules, forms, and other front desk materials
  • Check emails and communicate important reminders to the team and department managers
  • Help identify and solve problems and follow up on items that need to be completed
  • Support other managers with projects, events, holiday decorating, and front desk meetings
  • Answer questions and provide support to the front desk team
  • Help with first-day trainings, including uniforms, packets, and handbooks
  • Make sure the team is prepared for clinics, events, and other club activities
  • Monitor the maintenance and technology logs and follow up on issues that need to be resolved
  • Help troubleshoot POS drops, clock-in iPads, waiver iPads, and other front desk technology
  • Manage lost and found, including taking items to the DI when needed
  • Maintain locker services, including clean-outs and name tags
  • Update zone cards and track missing cards
  • Update VIP cards at Sunset
  • Ensure pickleball and aquatics charges are being processed correctly at River
  • Check folders, paperwork, signage, and bulletin boards and remove outdated information
  • Complete expense forms and other administrative tasks
  • Make sure comment cards are sent to upper management when full
  • Help keep the front desk team informed about whatโ€™s happening throughout the club
  • Cover front desk shifts when call-outs occur
  • Support the team wherever needed to keep the club operating smoothly
