About the Company
Cérélia operates a state-of-the-art commercial bakery and production facility in Whitehall, Ohio, a 150,000-square-foot plant that opened in September 2021 and serves as the U.S. manufacturing hub for the Jus-Rol brand. Our Whitehall facility specializes in ready-to-bake chilled dough products-including pizza dough, pie crusts, puff pastry, and cookie dough-and continues to expand with new product lines to support national growth.

While our Whitehall plant is new, Cérélia's roots trace back to 1974, evolving from a France-based bakery into an international leader in dough innovation. Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Operate stretch wrap machines.
  • Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods including operating scanners or handheld devices used to move and track items.
  • Prepare and complete orders for shipping according to the schedule.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Computer-based order picking in cooler or freezer environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and shipped.
  • Check in and sign out drivers in log.
  • Inventory cycle-counting
  • Check in raw materials, packaging supplies, and other deliveries according to procedures.
  • Label all incoming materials according to procedures.
  • Stock production lines with needed materials.
  • Keep warehouse areas interior and exterior clean and organized. Daily cleaning will be required.
  • Flexibility to work off-shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays.

Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures, including product hold and traceability.
  • Report any discrepancies with product or code dates.
  • Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure the use safe work practices and that safe working conditions exist.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks as required.
  • Report any damage or equipment issue to Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Operate all forklifts according to OSHA standard and company policies and SOPs.
  • Must be able to work in coolers and freezers for extended periods. PPE will be provided.
  • Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers.

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
  • Good communication skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a shipping environment with temperatures ranging from 38°F to -10°F. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
  • Ability to lift, carry, stack, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to safely work at elevated heights and utilize stairs, ladders, platforms, and personnel lifts as required.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and safely perform essential job functions in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.

Weekend Premium & Incentive
  • Weekend Premium: Additional $1.00/hour.
  • Weekend Incentive: Work your full scheduled 36 hours and receive pay for 40 hours.
  • The additional 4 hours will be paid at your base rate plus the $1.00 weekend premium.
