The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center is a program designed to offer individual tailored assistance and brief (up to 90-day) stabilization for a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above, who have intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or concurrent IDD/BH diagnoses. These individuals are facing psychiatric challenges and/or significant emotional/behavioral changes that are impacting on their essential functions, potentially jeopardizing their ability to stay in their usual home environment.

Position Overview:
CSDC Safety Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and individuals receiving services. This includes patrolling the facility, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting building inspections, securing entry points, responding to codes to assist in de-escalating crisis situations, and verifying all visitors.

Location/Schedule:ย 750 Hazel Street, Macon, GA.
Shifts:
  • 7:00am - 7:00pm Off every other weekend.
  • 7:00pm - 7:00am Off every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
  • Secure and protect facilities during fires, natural disasters, and other emergencies.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Conduct facility inspections for fire, safety, and environmental hazards.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior professional security experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work the assigned schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
