Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our commercial and industrial team for a project in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and construction projects. This role is designed for individuals pursuing a career in the electrical trade and offers hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. CANDIDATES MUST LIVE NEAR, SURROUND, OR RESIDE IN MONTGOMERY, AL.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Pull wire, install conduit, and prepare materials as directed by journeyman electricians.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Support troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 2-4 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
  • Enrollment in or willingness to enter an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles and tools.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Preferred Skills
