Job description

In office 1x/wk and can be mostly remote.

Seeking Certified Coder (CPC) to coordinate our quality programs. Work with payers to ensure we are identifying and closing care gaps, meeting HEDIS and MIPS measures. Provide provider and staff education. Work with our business office to identify and train staff and providers on emerging patterns of denials due to ICD10, CPT and CPT2 coding. Make sure HCC and appropriate chronic conditions have been addressed.


In addition to the standard benefits listed in the ad, we also offer two bonuses per year in June and December. We pay 100% of the premium cost for the employee's Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability and a $50,000 life insurance policy. Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, Short Term Disability and additional Life Insurance is also available. We have two retirement plan programs, a profit sharing plan and a 401k plan. IMA contributes to both plans on behalf of the employee and the employee can also make pre-tax or Roth contributions to the 401k plan as well.

We are an Internal Medicine private practice currently with 7 MDs and 5 Advanced Practice providers. We are open M-F and we close the office at 1:00p on Fridays.
