Job description

Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for Electricians in the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible.
Essential Duties
  • Electricians install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Adhere to the National Electrical Code and be able to read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications as well as properly using and maintaining hand and power tools along with electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Strong communication skills are required along with the ability to use basic electronic technology for entering time and safety reports.
  • Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
  • Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.

Qualifications & Experience
  • This position requires an electrical technician capable of performing all types of electrical installation work and strong problem-solving skills.
  • 3 years of electrical installation experience preferred.
  • Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
  • Ability to self-start, display solid work ethic, and respect others.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  • High school education or GED required.
  • Past leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves moderate manual labor.
  • Travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk.
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment as required to perform electrical installations (ladders, lifts, hand and power tools, vehicles, etc.).
